đ¤ď¸ Garmin Hrm Pro Does Not Connect
For me it seems the "battery gauge" of the HRM Pro is bull shit. Mine never showed any pre-warning of an empty battery. The strap just stopped connecting. When I switch the battery, I regulary meassure the tension left in the battery and it is allways way below the nominal 3V.
Finally Garmin introduced the HRM-Pro in September 2020. The HRM-Pro is the âtop of the lineâ and has all the features of the previous heart rate monitors and you van read my full review here. Except that itâs not detachable like the Dual and doesnât have the grippy strap like the swim. But it does allow stand alone monitoring and
AFAIK Garmin didn't update the firmware for HRM-Pro. I got the new one for the Edge last Monday but didn't saw any problems for HR that day. My quatix is also still in 19.20 version, I just noticed the watch was very slow during my run this morning (all is ok atm).
Good to know! I read and re-read the manual and I guess that part just didnât reach my brain. I really wish it would pair with my OTF monitor so I donât have to buy another ~$100 piece of hardware. My OrangeTheory Beat Heartrate monitor works with the treadmill and the app, so I would say yes.
Zephyr HxM (make sure itâs Bluetooth 4.0, not 2.0!) Cardiosport TP3; Suunto Smart Belt; Ambiotex smart shirt with cardio-monitor; Garmin HRM Dual and the HRM Pro are the only two with Bluetooth and ANT+. These monitors have not been tested in-house but this information comes directly from Garmin support. Inner Balance Bluetooth Sensor ear clip
However, if you want to use the HRM-Pro as an all day activity monitor it can only be connected to one Garmin Connect account. If you do not need the all day activity monitoring (steps, etc) then the cheaper HRM-Tri or HRM-Run may suit your needs better.

The Polar H9 fits a gap in Polarâs lineup for offering a tri-band chest strap at an affordable price, undercutting the price of their own product to put something on the market that should actually do well competitively since it really does stack up well against the Garmin HRM-DUAL and Wahoo straps. Each strap has their own minor differences
Connecting a HR monitor is a bit of a song and dance. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I use a Wahoo Tickr Armband the sequence has to be exact: Press heart icon on echelon bike to activate BT seeking. I long press my Wahoo Tickr and hold in the button. After about 20 seconds it usually pairs.
If you have an activity started on the watch you do not need to be close to the watch. After you finish the activity you should get an option to downloadâŚ. Ensure your 745 is paired to your HRM-Pro in Sensors and Activities. Once paired, your 745 will automatically find your HRM-Pro when you select an activity, provided you are wearing it
My hrm pro was connected fine to my connect app up until a few days ago then it stopped working. So I unconnected them. Now when trying to reconnect the app can't find the HRM pro .
The connection strength for the HRM in the pairing menu sometimes shows just one little red bar, and after pairing, it reads âNo Signal.â. I tried the trick of removing and flipping the HRM battery 180Âş, then replacing with a new battery, but the connection problem did not change in any way.
Simple sensors might be more easily made bug free or there might just be a lack of new features to add. Either way, itâs rare they get updated. Garmin has just released some new firmware for the Garmin HRM-PRO. Officially V8.10 improves ANT+ and BLE connectivity and, more interestingly, adds an extra Bluetooth channel.
Hi DC, as a young triathlete (16) I have a few questions, firstly I cannot afford the higherend Garmin watches that said I am wanting to get into the garmin ecosystem, I plan on getting the fr35 and Hrm pro but i do not know if these are compatible. Secondly is it safe to use the fr35 for surface saltwater open water swimming, and lastly.
